Test Fields Under Development
The Michigan Department of Education and Evaluation Systems group of Pearson are currently seeking educators to serve on committees for a variety of test development activities, including:
- educator preparation standards development and review
- MTTC test framework review
- item content review
- bias and sensitivity review (test framework and item content)
We currently have needs for educators to serve on the committees for these test fields:

- Early Childhood General and Special Education (Birth–K)
- English as a Second Language
- Cognitive Impairment
- Emotional Impairment
- Industrial Technology
- Learning Disabilities
- Health and Physical Education
- Mathematics Specialist
- Reading Specialist
- Elementary Education (PK–3)

- Mathematics
- Science
- Social Studies
- Elementary Education (3–6)

In addition to the test fields listed, we are also seeking educators for our Bias Review Committee. Members of this committee convene to review draft test materials, including test objectives and test items, for bias prevention and the inclusion of diversity in test materials.
